Awards

You can enter another category by selecting the category you wish to enter from the ‘Categories’ section or adding the category from the drop-down menu found at the top of your basket under ‘Add to basket’.

To view the criteria, simply click one of the buttons above to visit the Business Performance or Packaging Projects Categories pages. From here, you can click 'view criteria' on any of the categories to see the criteria. The category criteria is also repeated at the start of the entry process, before you fill in your answers.

Enter the email address and password that you used when you first started your entry on the log in page, you will then be taken through to your dashboard and will be able to continue your entry.

If you have or are going to enter into a ‘Packaging Projects’ Category, it is imperative that we receive 2-3 samples of your packaging entry.

The awards are open to brands (end-customers), retailers and packaging designers (either in-house or agencies working on behalf of a brand or retailer). Packaging manufacturers can also enter. Entrants must be operators in the UK market and products must be commercially available to UK consumers.

Yes, all entries will receive feedback, regardless of success. This feedback will come after the shortlist has been released, to non finalists, and after the awards, to runner ups and winners.

Our specially curated judging panel is made up of industry experts. We go to great lengths to ensure each panel has both expertise and diversity, so that every entry can be assessed accurately and from a range of viewpoints. 

The full line up of 2024 Judges will be revealed shortly. 

To ensure a rigorous, fair and transparent judging process, we undergo two judging stages: 

  • Part 1 - The judges individually study all the submissions received in their allocated categories online. Each entry will be scored against the category's set criteria.
    From this, the highest scoring submissions will make it through to the second stage - Judging Day. 

  • Part 2 - A second round of judging will then commence in-person where each submission is discussed in depth, and each judge re-scores each entry. 

All the information in your entry will remain confidential. All of our judges are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Yes, PR Agencies can submit projects on behalf of clients. PR Agencies must input the client details in the entry form relevant fields, including Contact Name, Company and Email Address. 

Hard copies will not be accepted. All entries must be submitted via the online entry form. Entries submitted by any other means or in any other format will be disqualified.

Yes, unsuccessful entrants will receive notice of this. 

If there is a ‘most important’ tip, then this is it. Ensure you thoroughly read the criteria for the category you are entering and answer the questions – as you would do in an exam. Then, make sure you give direct, easy to find answers against *ALL* of the criteria. 

This is a premier event for sustainable packaging. The awards will honour excellence in the sustainable use of resources, innovation, and packaging design to showcase how your company’s brands and products stand out.

The menu for the Environmental Packaging Awards will not be made available until the evening. If you are purchasing a ticket, please be sure to list any dietary requirements you would like the team to cater for.

Summit

At the summit, you’ll learn from industry leaders, understanding new ways of business, with a view to exploring the pressing issues of sustainability and discover ways waste. Speaker sessions and panel discussions will help you to understand in greater depth the sustainable challenges and opportunities within the packaging industry.

Ample time for Networking and Socializing will be provided during breakout and lunchtime sessions, and is a great way to raise your company profile and network with high-level attendees, speakers, and exhibitors, as well as seeing the latest innovations and new services from our exhibiting companies.

The dress code for the Summit is Business Casual.  

Yes, there will be a range of catering options available during the summit with options for all dietary requirements. 

General

Environmental Packaging Live will take place between 26-27 June 2024, with the awards on the evening of the 26 June, and the Summit taking place on both dates, during the day.

After booking your ticket or table package, we shall contact you to clarify any dietary requirements you or your party may have. If you haven’t been contacted for your dietary requirements two weeks before the event, please email our event team.
